All local prospective patients who are not referred by one of our affiliated physicians are required to attend a brief, no-charge initial consultation.

If you are considering becoming a patient, We would like to meet you in person first. Here is what we will do:

1. The clinic director will meet with you one-on-one in a private consultation room where you can tell him the basics about your current situation.
2. He will ask some questions to help him determine if you are a good candidate for the services we offer.
3. He will give you a brief overview of our philosophy and how our program works to make sure you are comfortable, as well.
4. This initial meeting ensures that you are ready to begin your program and allows the director to suggest preliminary medical testing if necessary. (Medical testing is done either through your current physician or one of our affiliated medical clinics.)

At the end of this brief initial consultation, if you decide to become a patient, we will schedule your full initial consultation which is 90 minutes in length and includes:

• A detailed review of your medical history and current symptoms
• Formulation of a comprehensive treatment plan around your individual needs
• Your first treatment

For those that live far outside the Greater Houston area, phone consultation packages are available. The phone consultation process is very comprehensive and allows us to do all of the things we do in clinic except for the acupuncture. We can then assist you in finding an acupuncturist in your local area, and can communicate with that acupuncturist about your case so that your treatments are coordinated effectively.

PLEASE NOTE: This option is only offered for those who live significantly outside the Houston area. We do not offer phone consultations for local patients at this time.
